Lisa has worked in nursery settings since 2008, joining Wonderland in 2013 after her own children left Wonderland to start school. Lisa holds a first class BA honours degree in Early Childhood. She has completed a Masters in Education, specialising in inclusive practice and has just completed Early Years Initial Teacher Training.

Brooke Huxter

Day Nursery Deputy Manager

Brooke holds a level 2 early years qualficiation and will complete her level 3 qualification by the end of 2024. 

Sharon 

Senior Pre-school Practitioner 

Blue Group Key Person

Sharon joined Wonderland in 2008 as an apprentice, gaining a level 3 qualification in childcare, learning and development. She has a wealth of knowledge in supporting the learning and development of children across the early years age range.

Sharon will be supporting Lisa and the team in pre-school with our children who have more complex needs. 

Megan

Pre-school Practitioner 

Yellow Group Key Person

Megan studied for a level 3 early years educator qualification at Weymouth College, completing two placements with us here at Wonderland. She joins us in pre-school this September, 2024, but you may see her around over the Summer too. 

Missy

Pre-school Assistant 

Missy joined Wonderland in September 2021 to support the pre-school team. Missy works in the pre-school additional to ratios, allowing key person's additional time to provide 1:1 or small group work with the children 

Debbie

Nursery / Pre-chool Assistant

Debbie works between both the Nursery and Pre-school rooms, supporting the children and staff during lunch times and staff absence. Debbie holds a level 3 qualification and has previously worked as a teaching assistant in a local primary school. Debbie holds paediatric first aid training as well as safeguarding training.
